"I can’t put into words the experiences, memories, connections and empowerment that I encountered this weekend. I shared some of my most terrifying fears and put myself in situations I didn’t think would be possible. I met people who displayed an overwhelming extent of acceptance and non-judgement and turned corners I didn’t think I would in terms of recovery. Some very powerful things were said to me which will genuinely change my life and the way I manage my mental health from now on. It also gave me the strength and encouragement to keep raising awareness of mental health and reducing the stigma.
